HASHTAG accounts are not open yet. This public route is ready for the launch deletion process required by the app stores.
Delete inside the app
- Open Trace.
- Open Safety & Account.
- Select Delete account and data.
- Review the consequences and confirm permanent deletion.
Request deletion on the web
Email us from the address connected to your account. Use the subject “Delete my HASHTAG account.” We may ask you to complete a limited verification step so another person cannot delete your account.
What is deleted
- Account and authentication identifiers.
- Contributions, uploaded media and message-request content still associated with the account.
- Room memberships, preferences and non-required profile data.
- Associated personal data not subject to a valid retention exception.
Limited exceptions
Fraud-prevention, safety, financial or legal records may be retained only when required and only for the applicable period. Encrypted backups age out on their normal deletion cycle, targeted within 30 days.
After confirmation
Deletion cannot be undone. Public content may already have expired under the room’s 24/48-hour rule. Copies made independently by other users are outside our direct control.
